Easter Sunday, 2013
Potted Easter flowers were in colors of white and yellow with traditional white Easter Lilies and King Albert Daffodils. Cut flowers included yellow gerberas, tulips. glads, white mums and wild mixed greenery with kale.
The Flower Guild of St. Joseph Catholic Church--Gluckstadt, Mississippi was organized in the Summer of 2009. Previously, flowers had been arranged by church members from time to time, with occasional donated floral memorials, usually made by a local florist. Flower Guild members are volunteers who create floral arrangements to the Glory of God, which remind us of the wonder of the natural world He created. The Guild uses wildflowers and objects of nature whenever possible.
