and cedar from the previous weeks of Advent.


Third Sunday of Advent, 2010
The Third Sunday of Advent is known as
Gaudete Sunday and and emphasizes the joyous
anticipation of the Lord's coming. The rose-colored candle on the wreath is lighted and small pink roses were added to the front arrangement.
Second Sunday of Advent, 2010
More greenery is added.
First Sunday of Advent, 2010
The Advent Wreath is made of traditional mixed Christmas greens.
This year our front arrangment is a progressive Advent arrangement.
The arrangement grows through Advent as our anticipation of Christmas grows.

Beautiful hydrangeas from a
parishioner's yard decorated the
church this week, with the vase of the
main arrangement wrapped in
tree bark.


Pentecost, 2010
May 23 -- Flowers
represent the flames of the Holy
Spirit in the colors of fire. Wild
flowers were used around the
baptismal font.
May 16, 2010
First Communion was this weekend and
arrangement included wheat and wild
flowers. Baptismal font was also decorated with wild flowers.
