 Mother's Day, 2011
Mixed flowers in pinks and greens decorated the church on May 8, 2011. Since the Easter Lilies have lost all their blooms, they were removed from the church, even though it is still the Easter Season.  The feathers from the peacock, a symbol of resurrection, still adorn the arrangements.

 Easter, 2011
This year, the Easter flowers included the beautiful white Easter lilies as well as other flowers in the colors of the peacock feather.
Feathers were included in the decorations because the molting
of peacocks and the renewal of their plumage are ancient signs
of resurrection.
